Entering his eighth year as Langley’s Varsity Baseball Head Coach, Jeff Ferrell, brings an outstanding coaching and playing background to the Langley program. In 2004 he was named coach of the year in the Liberty District. Prior to attending the University of New Mexico, Coach Ferrell played for two seasons at Willmar Community College where he led the team in hitting. His high school career was played at Delano High School in Delano, Minnesota where he earned all-conference honors his senior year and led his teams to three conference championships and two regional championships. Coach Ferrell also played ten years of fast-pitch softball in the Southwest region.
Coach Ferrell has been married to his wife, Julie, for 18 years and has a 14 year old daughter, Jennifer. Off-season time is spent with his family, their dog Poncha, golfing and cutting grass. |
