In the Langley Saxons’ 4-1 win over the host Madison Warhawks last week, Bryce Morrison was the winning pitcher. Langley scored four unearned runs in the second inning as a result of three straight Madison errors. Brian Eck took the loss and Joey Hayes doubled home Madison’s lone run. Jimmy Saris got the save for Langley as he struck out two in one inning. Morrison allowed five hits in six innings. Chuck Eller had two hits and drove in a run for Langley, which lost later in the week to McLean, 7-5, as Saris fanned 12 in four innings but got no decision.
